With an unprecedented career in retail, spanning over twenty-nine years, Coach Carter supports top retail organizations to work smarter and drive measurable results. Having built his retail career holding management and leadership roles within industry leading retail organizations, including Ross and Walmart, Coach Carter leverages his personal experiences, lessons learned and industry knowledge to inform his coaching and consulting approach with businesses and individuals.
Early in his career, Carter struggled to have a voice among colleagues. Eager to share ideas of innovation, collaboration and strategy, he felt underutilized, undervalued and unheard by his team. These challenges served as the catalyst which led him to learn and adopt more effective leadership and communications skills. He honed these skills over time, soon sharing lessons to help nurture the career development of colleagues, becoming a keynote speaker and coaching individuals in countless industries to find their voice and increase their career potential.

Coach Carter earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Dallas and his M.B.A. in Leadership from Walden University. He is a trained Co-Active Coach, earned from the Coaches Training Institute.
Coach Carter serves on the boards of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas, DeSoto Texas Economic Development Corporation, DeSoto Texas Chamber of Commerce, Best Southwest Chamber of Commerce and the Detention Center Volunteer Ministry.
